Bike Rodeo...

This week, the students enjoyed five different stations set up for the Bike Rodeo. They worked on stopping, sharp turns and balancing while riding slowly.

In Language Arts, the students continued typing their fractured fairy tale stories. They have been working hard on editing their own work for proper conventions such as capitals, punctuation and proper spelling. The published stories will be put in their year end memory binders for you to read during the summer.

This week in Math, we worked on fractions. The students learned about fractions being part of a whole. They also learned about the terms numerator and denominator. We also worked through our shape unit and described 3-D objects according to the shape of the faces and number of edges and vertices.

The Home Reading Amazing Race program is now complete. 3B had a lot of eager flyers this year and they should all be very proud of their achievements.

Congratulations to our new Student of the Week!
