We were so excited to see that our caterpillars were starting to change.....
For LA, we decided to write about what we'd like to do if we were to change into a butterfly. the responses were creative and fun to read!
For Math, we did estimating and measuring with centimetres and metres. We also did some fun activities measuring perimeter in centimetres.
We discussed how many centimetres there are in a metre and went on to measure larger items.
After all our hands-on measuring, we went on the chrome books and played some great measurement games.
We have almost completed all our slideshow presentations on our animal life cycles. The students will be presenting these this week.
Our "read to self" time each day is enjoyed by all. The students still love to sink into the comfy chairs and dive into a good book!
For Art this week, we made wire bugs. The students shaped their bugs out of wire and added beads and buttons.
Congratulations to our new student of the week!
